Michael graduated with a Second-Class honours degree in Physiology and Sports Science in 2007 from the University of Glasgow. Michael has been with Sports Labs since 2016.
Michael initially ventured into the Health and Fitness Industry in 2008 and worked his way from a Fitness Advisor through to Personal Trainer and then eventually as the Fitness Manager where he remained for 2 years before changing career path.
Michael now has almost 7 years of experience with Sports Labs and now possesses a vast range of experience and knowledge in both the laboratory and field testing of sports surfaces and products. Michael’s organic route through Sports Labs has enabled him to have been exposed to a large range of sports facilities and the testing therein.
Michael now has an operations role within the company, and within this role works within UKAS and ISO 9001 quality systems to ensure the highest possible standards are met by the department. Michael assumes responsibility for the completion of all test reports and the logistical solutions for the field team and is also an important contact for new and existing clients for all technical enquiries and queries.
Michael is an effective communicator and thrives in both a team and individual environment.
Personal pursuits include football, golf and playing the guitar.
